Beyond the standard model

AIP Conference Proceedings, 1994
In this talk I discuss the theoretical and experimental reasons for believing that there is new physics beyond the standard one‐doublet Higgs model. I review the status of the two most popular classes of such models: Technicolor and supersymmetry.

The Standard Model and Beyond

2016
The Standard Model (SM) is a theory that describes the fundamental particles and their interactions, with the exception of gravitational interactions. Experimental observations over the past several decades have proven that the SM accurately describes the physics at energy levels accessible in the laboratory.

The Standard Model and Beyond

2017
It is often said that the Standard Model (SM) is a theory of interactions. That means, that it describes the laws of nature by assigning its pieces a susceptibility to certain forces. This is modelled as a charge with respect to a field, which in this respect is nothing more than a quantum of how strongly it couples to the force carriers of that field.
