Anemon Muş Alparslan Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler DergisiŞeriye sicilleri, Osmanlı konut araştırmalarında değerli bir veri grubunu oluşturmaktadır. Bu arşiv belgeleri aracılığıyla Gaziantep konutu mekan bileşenleri araştırıldığında, konutun mekanlarının hem beyt hem de oda olarak adlandırıldığı bir dönem olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Beytin oda anlamına geliyor oluşu, bu durumu araştırmaya değer kılmıştır.
