Effect of Ramped Oxygen Flow During Magnetron Sputtering on the Structural, Optical, and Photoelectrochemical Properties of WO3‐x Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
A compositionally graded WO3‐x thin film was engineered through a controlled linear increase of oxygen flow during reactive magnetron sputtering. This deposition strategy yields a gradual transition from an oxygen‐deficient, conductive bottom layer to a more stoichiometric and crystalline surface layer, forming an intrinsic gradient homojunction.

Rigid Neuroendoscopy Assisted Hematoma Resection Reduces the Recurrence Rate of Chronic Subdural Hematoma With Mixed Density: A Retrospective Analytic Cohort Study

open access: yesFrontiers in Surgery, 2022
BackgroundThe mixed density hematoma (MDH) has a high recurrence rate in chronic subdural hematoma (CSDH). This study adopted rigid neuroendoscopy assisted hematoma resection to evacuate CSDH and investigated its efficacy as compared with the traditional

Analysis of BHC Isomers by Gas Chromatograph-Mass Spectrometer Combined System. Identification of β-BHC

open access: yesJournal of the Mass Spectrometry Society of Japan, 1972
Stereoisomers of benzene hexachloride, especially β-BHC, could be identified using a Shimadzu LKB 9000 gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer combined system by diversification of the ion source temperature. We believe this technique will widen the application of the GC-MS combined system in the field of isomerical study.

Shear wall plan layout optimization considering seismic loads

open access: yesStructural Concrete, EarlyView.
Abstract Seismic force resistant structural design requires experience and time. Shear wall elements are generally used in concrete structures due to their high stiffness against horizontal forces. The aim of this study is to obtain optimum structural wall disposition by using building information modeling (BIM) technologies.
