Electronic and structural characterisation of Cu3BiS3 thin films for the absorber layer of sustainable photovoltaics [PDF]
Thin films of p-type Cu3BiS3 with an orthorhombic wittichenite structure, a semiconductor with high potential for thin film solar cell absorber layers, were synthesised by thermal annealing of Cu and Bi precursors, magnetron sputtered on Mo/glass ...

The rapidly developing organic–inorganic hybrid chalcogenide solar cells have now become a hot topic of interest. However, the bandgap of inorganic ferroelectric materials with a typical chalcogenide structure is too wide to match the solar spectrum ...

Bi-bicyclic and bi-tricyclic compounds from Dendrobium thyrsiflorum
One bi-bicyclic and two bi-tricyclic derivatives of coumarin–benzofuran, phenanthrene–phenanthrene and phenanthrene–phenanthraquinone, along with seven known compounds, were isolated from stems of Dendrobium thyrsiflorum Rchb.f. (Orchidaceae).

Rational design of Bi-doped rGO/Co3O4 nanohybrids for ethanol sensing [PDF]
Gas sensors based on metal oxide semiconductors (MOSCs) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) for sensing of organic volatile compounds often suffer from high operation temperature, low responses, poor selectivity, or narrow detection range. Herein, we design

Continuous wave and modelocked femtosecond novel bulk glass lasers operating around 2000 nm
This thesis reports on the development of glass-based femtosecond laser sources around 2 µm wavelength. In order to be able to produce 2 µm radiation the dopants used were trivalent Thulium (Tm³⁺) and trivalent Holmium (Ho³⁺) that could be optically ...

Electronic structure of bi-activated luminescent compounds and pure bismuth photocatalytic compounds
The trends in electronic structure of Bi3+ and Bi2+ as luminescent dopant in wide bandgap inorganic compounds and that of pure Bicompounds for photocatalytic splitting of water are explored by determination of vacuum referred electron binding energies ...

High-temperature thermoelectric properties of the β-As2−xBixTe3 solid solution
Bi2Te3-based compounds are a well-known class of outstanding thermoelectric materials. β-As2Te3, another member of this family, exhibits promising thermoelectric properties around 400 K when appropriately doped.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Investigation on electrical performance of Sr, Mg, co-doped Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 oxide ion conductor
Na0.5Bi0.48Sr0.02Ti0.98Mg0.02O2.97 compound was synthesized by solid-state reaction. AC impedance and internal friction spectroscopy were employed to study the electrical performance and oxgyen ion diffusion in the Sr,Mg-co-doped Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 compounds.
