Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Seeking 'Strategy' in Business Intelligence Literature: Theorizing BI as part of strategy research
This paper connects the business intelligence (BI) literature with research in strategic management by plotting the existing research strands on BI: environmental scanning, competitive intelligence, executive information systems, and business ...

Maxwell Demon from a Quantum Bayesian Networks Perspective [PDF]
We propose a new inequality that we call the conditional ageing inequality (CAIN). The CAIN is a slight generalization to non-equilibrium situations of the Second Law of thermodynamics. The goal of this paper is to study the consequences of the CAIN.

Palladium-bismuth intermetallic and surface-poisoned catalysts for the semi-hydrogenation of 2-methyl-3-butyn-2-ol [PDF]
The effects of poisoning of Pd catalysts with Bi and annealing in a polyol (ethylene glycol) were studied on the semi-hydrogenation of 2-methyl-3-butyn-2-ol (MBY).

Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

Fermi-like Liquid From Einstein-DBI-Dilaton System
We have obtained an expression of the entropy density depending on the scale transformation of the spatial directions in the field theory. It takes the following form in $d+1$ dimensional bulk spacetime: $s\sim T^{\f{\delta(d-1)-\theta}{z}}_H$, where $z$
