Quasi‐Periodic Porous Structures‐Based Temperature and Pressure Dual‐Mode Electronic Skin for Material Cognition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A quasi‐periodic porous structure‐based temperature and pressure dual‐mode electronic skin was proposed. Benefiting from the quasi‐periodic porous structure, the temperature and pressure sensing performance of the electronic skin can be precisely constructed and optimized by changing the size of the porous structure. By analyzing the thermoelectric and

Ferromagnetic Interlayer Exchange Coupling in Magnetic Topological Insulator Sandwich Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A thin topological insulator (Bi2Te3) inserted between two single magnetic septuple layers of MnBi2Te4 is shown to convert the intrinsic antiferromagnetic interlayer coupling into robust ferromagnetism. As the Bi2Te3 spacer thickness increases from 1 to 4 quintuple layers, the weakening coercivity, Curie temperature, and interlayer coupling reveal ...

Surface plasmon on topological insulator/dielectric interface enhanced ZnO ultraviolet photoluminescence

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2012
It has recently been predicted that the surface plasmons are allowed to exist on the interface between a topological insulator and vacuum. Surface plasmons can be employed to enhance the optical emission from various illuminants.

Fast Thermoelectric Responses from Unconventional Na‐I Stoichiometry in Reduced Graphene Oxide Films

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By coating the graphene oxide suspension and the dilute NaI solution layer‐by‐layer from bottom up, this work achieves a heterogeneous structure from asymmetry of the up and bottom surface Na and I atomic ratios in reduced graphene oxide (rGO) films, which exhibits fast thermoelectric responses.

Intrinsic conduction through topological surface states of insulating Bi$_2$Te$_3$ epitaxial thin films

open access: yes, 2014
Topological insulators represent a novel state of matter with surface charge carriers having a massless Dirac dispersion and locked helical spin polarization. Many exciting experiments have been proposed by theory, yet, their execution have been hampered

Investigation of Bi2Te3-Bi2Te3-xSx structures by photovoltage measurements

open access: yes, 2002
The single-crystal structure of Bi2Te3 -Bi2Te3-xSx with a p-n junction was prepared by the heat treatment of p -Bi2Te3 in sulphur vapors. This structure was characterized by the measurement of the photovoltaic effect. The dependence of the photovoltage at 77 K on the wavelenght shows two speaks at 2.8 um (=0.44 eV) and at 1.9 um (=0.65 eV).
