Noether Symmetries of Bianchi Type II Spacetime Metrics

open access: yes, 2015
We classify a class of Bianchi type II spacetimes according to their Noether symmetries. We briefly discuss the conservation laws admitted by these Noether symmetries and classify their possible algebras and determine their structures also.

Educating agents of change: Investigating curricula to foster sustainability competencies in university

open access: yesThe Curriculum Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract This study critically evaluates the implementation of sustainability competencies in the university‐wide curriculum reform at a Nordic research‐intensive multidisciplinary university. The focus is on assessing how sustainability competencies—especially the newly introduced systems thinking, strategic thinking and futures thinking—are ...

Taming singularities and chaos in conformal gravity

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We hereby address the cosmological singularity problem in a general gravitational theory invariant under Weyl conformal transformations. In particular, we focus on the Bianchi IX spacetime and we show that both the initial (big bang) and final (big ...

Epidemiology of Intensive Nutritional Interventions and Restraints in Hospitalizations for Anorexia Nervosa: Annual National Trends of the United States

open access: yesInternational Journal of Eating Disorders, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Despite the clinical relevance of enteral and parenteral tube feeding and restraint use in anorexia nervosa (AN), national‐level data on their use have remained limited, particularly for total parenteral nutrition (TPN) and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG).

Gravitational wave of the Bianchi VII universe: particle trajectories, geodesic deviation and tidal accelerations

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
For the gravitational wave model based on the type III Shapovalov wave space-time, test particle trajectories and the exact solution of geodesic deviation equations for the Bianchi type VII universe are obtained. Based on the found 4-vector of deviation,

The Importance of Considering Personal Recovery for Eating Disorders

open access: yesEuropean Eating Disorders Review, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Definitions of recovery from eating disorders (EDs) have traditionally emphasised symptom reduction and functional restoration. However, growing research highlights the importance of integrating personal recovery, defined by self‐acceptance, autonomy, and psychological wellbeing.

Generalized Ghost Pilgrim Dark Energy in Brans–Dicke Theory

open access: yesEast European Journal of Physics
This paper aims to investigate, how the Bianchi Type-V cosmological model can be solved using the generalized ghost pilgrim dark energy postulated by the Brans-Dicke theory of gravitation (Phys. Rev.124, 925 1961). To discover the answers, we rely on the

Cosmic anisotropic hair of nonlocal RT gravity

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
Nonlocal RT gravity has proven effective in explaining the late-time cosmic acceleration while remaining consistent with local gravity tests. However, most previous cosmological studies of this theory have assumed an isotropic background, which may not ...
