Pseudo-spherical Submanifolds with Degenerate Bianchi Transformation

Results in Mathematics, 2011
Consider a pseudo-spherical surface \(F^2 \subset E^3\), that is a surface with constant negative Gaussian curvature \(K=-1\). The classical Bianchi transformation provides a construction which gives a second pseudo-spherical surface \({\tilde F}^2\) which is regular in the generic case.

CHARACTERIZATIONS OF BIANCHI–BÄCKLUND TRANSFORMATIONS OF CONSTANT MEAN CURVATURE SURFACES

International Journal of Mathematics, 2005
We show that Bianchi–Bäcklund transformation of a constant mean curvature surface is equivalent to the Darboux transformation and the simple type dressing.

Bäcklund transformations of solutions of nonlinear evolution equations and the Lie Bianchi transformation

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1996
Abstract Using the Maurer Cartan structural equations of the Lie group SL(2, R ) it is shown that the auto-Backlund transformations of solutions of the Sine Gordon, the Korteweg—de Vries and the modified Korteweg—de Vries equation can be derived from the same Lie Bianchi transformation sending surfaces of constant negative curvature into ...

Two-dimensional pseudospherical surfaces with degenerate Bianchi transformation

Ukrainian Mathematical Journal, 2012
Given a smooth surface \(F^2\subset{\mathbb R}^3\) endowed with a parametrization \({\mathbf r}(u,v)\) such that the induced metric has the form \(ds^2=du^2+e^{-2v}dv^2\) (oricyclic coordinates), the classical Bianchi transformation assigns to \({\mathbf r}(u,v)\) a new parametrized surface \({\widetilde{F}}^2\) parametrized by \(\widetilde{{\mathbf r}}

Riemann-Hilbert Transforms and Bianchi-Bäcklund Transformations for the Supersymmetric Yang-Mills Fields

Physical Review Letters, 1984
Riemann-Hilbert transforms, and their connections with the affine Lie algebra of Kac and Moody, and a two-parameter Bianchi-Baaumlcklund transformation are given for the constraint equations for the supersymmetric Yang-Mills fields. These are important integrable properties of the supersymmetric Yang-Mills fields; especially for N> or =3 these ...

An analog of bianchi transformations for two-dimensional surfaces in the space S 3 × ℝ1

Mathematical Notes, 2011
Bianchi-type transformations are constructed for two-dimensional surfaces with constant negative intrinsic curvature in the space S3 × ℝ1.
