A Tale of Twin Dependence: A New Multivariate Regression Model and an FGLS Estimator for Analyzing Outcomes With Network Dependence

Sociological Methods & Research, 2021
In this article, I present a new multivariate regression model for analyzing outcomes with network dependence. The model is capable to account for two types of outcome dependence including the mean dependence that allows the outcome to depend on selected

Camera Calibration with Unknown Time Offset between the Camera and Drone GPS Systems

Fusion, 2022
This paper considers a camera calibration problem using a discrete-time drone trajectory recorded by an accurate GPS. The challenge is that the GPS receiver and camera are not time synchronized (there is an unknown time offset between the two systems ...

Validation of Harvest Date Estimator Mobile Application For Banana (BanaTech-Version 1): A Way Towards A More Efficient Farm Planning

The Philippine journal of crop science
Harvest date estimation helps farmers in the decision making which contributes to efficient farm planning. This helps to reduce losses due to untimely harvest of immature produce while ensuring that the market receives higher-quality bananas harvested at

MULTIPLIER ESTIMATES: TO BIAS OR NOT TO BIAS?*

Journal of Regional Science, 2006
ABSTRACT It is well known that multiplier estimates within an interindustry context may be biased when the input coefficients are stochastic. Several conditions have been derived under which the estimates were shown to be biased, all with the same sign.

ON THE BIAS OF MULTIPLIER ESTIMATES*

Journal of Regional Science, 1995
ABSTRACT. This paper considers the bias of the matrix of multipliers when the underlying data are random. The traditional approach is to specify the stochastic nature of the input coefficients directly. It is shown that this approach implies a transactions table which is biased in a most unbalanced way.

The Bias and Accuracy of Moment Estimators

Biometrika, 1970
SUMMARY A new method for finding the biases and covariances of moment estimators to order n-2 is outlined and compared with existing solutions. It is thought that the new approach is likely to be particularly useful for cases where moment estimation is complicated.
