Critical biblical studies via word frequency analysis: unveiling text authorship [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
The Bible, a product of an extensive and intricate process of oral-written transmission spanning centuries, obscures the contours of its earlier recensions. Debate rages over determining the existing layers and identifying the date of composition and historical background of the biblical texts.

An Examination of Aerosol Jet‐Printed Surface Roughness and its Impact on the Performance of High‐Frequency Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores aerosol jet‐printed (AJP) surface roughness, its effects on the performance of microwave electronics, and its process contributors. First, an electromagnetic model is vetted for AJP's unique roughness signature. Simulations are built which show process‐induced roughness is as significant as conductor resistivity in driving microwave

Efficacy of ByT5 in Multilingual Translation of Biblical Texts for Underrepresented Languages [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
This study presents the development and evaluation of a ByT5-based multilingual translation model tailored for translating the Bible into underrepresented languages. Utilizing the comprehensive Johns Hopkins University Bible Corpus, we trained the model to capture the intricate nuances of character-based and morphologically rich languages. Our results,

Algorithmic Permutation of part of the Torah [PDF]

open access: yesProc. ANPA 27, Wesley College, Cambridge, UK, September 2005, 2007
A small part of the Torah is arranged into a two dimensional array. The characters are then permuted using a simple recursive deterministic algorithm. The various permutations are then passed through three stochastic filters and one deterministic filter to identify the permutations which most closely approximate readable Biblical Hebrew.

Mechanical and Microstructural Effects of ZrO2 Nanoparticles in Fe20Cr Oxide Dispersion‐Strengthened Alloys Processed by Laser Powder Bed Fusion

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The influence of oxide nanoparticle synthesis route and concentration on microstructure and high‐temperature performance of additively manufactured oxide dispersion‐strengthened steels is investigated. Comparing laser‐generated and chemically synthesized ZrO2 nanoparticles, the study reveals how dispersion quality, crystal structure and particle size ...

Investigating Expert-in-the-Loop LLM Discourse Patterns for Ancient Intertextual Analysis [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
This study explores the potential of large language models (LLMs) for identifying and examining intertextual relationships within biblical, Koine Greek texts. By evaluating the performance of LLMs on various intertextuality scenarios the study demonstrates that these models can detect direct quotations, allusions, and echoes between texts.
