High‐Chroma, High‐Contrast Tunable Color Coatings Using Sb2S3 in a Metal‐Dielectric Stack
Advanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.A novel tunable color coating design is presented, using the phase‐change material Sb2S3 in a Fabry–Perot cavity. The resulting coatings yield bright, attractive colors, and display a significant color change when annealed using a hotplate or a laser. This demonstrates that Sb2S3 is a promising candidate for use in tunable color coatings.

Advanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.Inflatable kirigami crawlers are fabricated from heat‐sealable textiles and achieve motion through cyclic pneumatic actuation. Strategically placed kirigami cuts guide asymmetric deformation, doubling contraction compared to traditional pouches and forming scale‐like surfaces.
