AbstractThis bibliometric study assessed periodontal/implant articles that were part of the five most‐cited dental articles in each of the years 2005‐2019. Periodontal/implant articles made up one to four articles in each of 14 years and totaled 40% of the yearly five most‐cited dental articles.
