BIBRAX FLETCHER, 1928Until recently there were just two described Neotropical species in this genus, from Brazil and Colombia (Asenjo et al. 2019 a, 2024a). However, twelve new species from Ecuador have been recently described, treated in detail elsewhere (Tapuy-Avilés et al. 2025), and several more are known (unpub. data).
