Zebra stripes: the questions raised by the answers
ABSTRACT Multiple hypotheses have been suggested to explain why the three zebra species (Equus quagga, E. grevyi and E. zebra) are striped. We review how well these theories explain the nature (rather than simply the existence) of the stripes. Specifically, we explore how well different theories explain (i) the form of zebra stripes (especially on ...

Abstract This paper presents wideband indoor channel measurements in three of the millimeter wave (mmWave) bands for the fifth generation (5G) and beyond 5G (B5G) wireless systems. Measurements were conducted at the Ka‐band (36–41 GHz) and V‐band (50–75 GHz) in office and factory/industrial environments, using Durham University's custom‐designed ...

Summary This study examines four exceptional lead boat‐shaped objects recovered from the fourteenth‐century BC Chamber Tomb ZZ at the cemetery of the cosmopolitan city of Hala Sultan Tekke, Cyprus. A closely related lead object was also found in Stratum 1 of City Quarter 4 at Hala Sultan Tekke, dating to the early twelfth century BC.

Oued Chebeika 002: A new CI1 meteorite linked to outer solar system bodies
Abstract CI1 chondrites are rare meteorites with high scientific value. In fact, they are the most chemically primitive meteorites and show evidence of intense parent‐body aqueous alteration. They also share strong similarities with samples from Ryugu and Bennu asteroids returned by the JAXA Hayabusa2 and NASA's OSIRIS‐REx missions.

A time and material saving method to investigate multiple processing of polyolefins is developed. A commercial rheometer is used to emulate a thermo‐mechanical treatment of the polymer during processing. A kinetic model is suggested to predict the change of the molecular weight as a function of time, temperature and in‐phase shear stress.
