Design, Synthesis, and Structural Evolution of Pseudo-Natural Product IDO1 Inhibitors and Degraders. [PDF]
The combination of bicyclic monoterpene‐ and pyrrolidine‐alkaloid fragments yields novel pseudo‐natural products. Biological characterization revealed that these iDegs are inhibitors and degraders of indoleamine‐2,3‐dioxygenase. Abstract Terpenoid alkaloids are derived from the fusion of structurally diverse terpenoid‐ and alkaloid moieties.

Evolving a generalist biosensor for bicyclic monoterpenes [PDF]
ABSTRACTProkaryotic transcription factors can be repurposed as analytical and synthetic tools for precise chemical measurement and regulation. Monoterpenes encompass a broad chemical family that are commercially valuable as flavors, cosmetics, and fragrances, but have proven difficult to measure, especially in cells.

A series of novel pinanyl pyrimidine amine derivatives (1e~1n) and camphoryl pyrimidine amine derivatives (2b~2f) bearing bicyclic monoterpene moieties were designed and synthesized from natural and renewable nopinone and camphor. All chemical structures of target compounds were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and HRMS spectra analyses, and the ...

Borneol, a Bicyclic Monoterpene Alcohol, Reduces Nociceptive Behavior and Inflammatory Response in Mice [PDF]
Borneol, a bicyclic monoterpene, has been evaluated for antinociceptive and anti‐inflammatory activities. Antinociceptive and anti‐inflammatory activities were studied by measuring nociception by acetic acid, formalin, hot plate, and grip strength tests, while inflammation was prompted by carrageenan‐induced peritonitis.

The oxygen-independent metabolism of cyclic monoterpenes in Castellaniella defragrans 65Phen [PDF]
BACKGROUND: The facultatively anaerobic betaproteobacterium Castellaniella defragrans 65Phen utilizes acyclic, monocyclic and bicyclic monoterpenes as sole carbon source under oxic as well as anoxic conditions.

Chemical Composition of Leaf and Seed Oils of Dryobalanops aromatica Gaertn. (Dipterocarpaceae)
The essential oils of the leaves and seed of Dryobalanops aromatica Gaertn. obtained by hydrodistillation resulted in 0.07% and 1.89% yield, respectively. These oils were then examined by GC-MS.
