Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)

Price Formation under Small Numbers Competition: Evidence from Land Auctions in Singapore [PDF]
This paper examines the price formation process under small numbers competition using data from Singapore land auctions. The theory predicts that bid prices are less than the zero-profit asset value in these first-price sealed-bid auctions.

Lift-Based Bidding in Ad Selection
Real-time bidding (RTB) has become one of the largest online advertising markets in the world. Today the bid price per ad impression is typically decided by the expected value of how it can lead to a desired action event (e.g., registering an account or ...

THE IMPACT OF E-COMMERCE ON DEVELOPING A COURSE IN OPERATING SYSTEMS: AN INTERPRETIVE STUDY [PDF]
This paper discusses factors affecting the buy-it-now (BIN) market behavior in online auctions. The study includes performing a probit analysis — using a collected data set to find out how the independent variables affect the BIN behavior.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI BID-ASK SPREAD PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR
The amount of information asymmetry faced by dealers will be reflected in the spread. Dealers will try to maintain the bid-ask spreads are optimal, so the need to determine the factors that affect the bid- ask spread .

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.
