Seamless all-optical bidirectional wavelength converter

We proposed a seamless all-optical wavelength converter based on four wave mixing effect in highly nonlinear fibers. The proposed wavelength converter consists of a section of highly nonlinear fiber to implement bi-directionally wavelength conversion twice for seamless conversion.

The Bidirectional Multiresonant Converter

The new bidirectional multiresonant converter is presented. The new converter is derived from the DE-class converter. The converter rectifiers are replaced by controlled bidirectional switch and bidirectional power flow is achieved in the same circuit. The converter performs different modes of operation.
