Thermohydraulic model of Smart Thermal Grids with bidirectional power flow between prosumers
Energy, 2021Abstract Part of Smart Energy Systems are Smart Thermal Grids, which enable bidirectional power flow between prosumers. To facilitate this feature, the network architecture and intelligent control of the decentralized actuators are a major challenge. Therefore, methods for the analysis of prosumer-dominated thermal networks are needed, including the ...

Power Flow Direction Definitions for Metering of Bidirectional Power
IEEE Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems, 1983In power system metering there are no generally accepted direction definitions applied to the bidirectional flow of active, reactive, and apparent power. To remedy this, an approach based on the power triangle in four quadrants is presented here. Recommended definitions are given for power flow directions at any point in a power system.
