Maximizing Energy Generation in Agrivoltaic Systems: A Study of Bifacial and Monofacial Modules With Consideration of Module Height and Albedo Impact

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
This study evaluates the performance of bifacial and monofacial PV modules in agrivoltaic systems using PVsyst simulations. Real albedo measurements from a wheat field were incorporated to ensure realistic results. Bifacial modules demonstrated a 19.46% increase in energy yield compared to monofacial ones.

Performance Comparison of Monocrystalline, Polycrystalline, Low Concentrated, and Bifacial PV Modules in a Particular Geographic Location of South India

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
This study aims to conduct a performance comparison of irradiation and temperature on different commercially available PV modules like PPVM, MPVM, LPVM, and BPVM. Here, the TPVM is not considered in the analysis due to its toxic nature. This study has considered the LPVM because researchers have not focused on it due to the higher area requirement for ...
