Inside the head of Crotalus durissus LINNAEUS, 1758 (Serpentes, Viperidae, Crotalinae): Macroscopic description of the brain with ontogenetic insights

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Neuroanatomy studies in vertebrates have garnered significant attention in recent years, particularly driven by advancements in computerized tomography imaging techniques. Nonetheless, these advancements remain largely constrained to specific vertebrate groups, notably mammals, birds, and fish, leaving studies in reptiles at an incipient stage.

Flt3L, LIF, and IL‐10 combination promotes the selective in vitro development of ESAMlow cDC2B from murine bone marrow

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Immunology, Volume 52, Issue 12, Page 1946-1960, December 2022., 2022
In vitro culture of murine bone marrow cells in Flt3L + LIF + IL‐10 promotes CD11b+ ESAMlow cDC2B subset generation from CDP but blocks cDC1 and pDC development. Flt3L alone or combined does not induce cDC2A generation in vitro. Abstract The development of two conventional dendritic cells (DC) subsets (cDC1 and cDC2) and the plasmacytoid DC (pDC) in ...

Decoding regulatory programs underlying placode and dermal condensate cell fate commitment during hair follicle induction via single‐cell multi‐omics analysis

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
The experimental framework of the study encompasses sample collection, single‐cell data analysis, and experimental validation. Abstract Understanding differences in chromatin state and changes in gene regulatory landscape of placode (Pc) and dermal condensate are crucial for decoding hair follicle (HF) morphogenesis programs.

Stabilizing the C−N Double Bond Character in Fumaramide with the Aid of Superacids

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 2022, Issue 35, December 16, 2022., 2022
Fumaramide was reacted with different superacidic systems leading to the formation of the O‐diprotonated species [C4H8N2O2]2+. Due to the protonation the nitrogen lone pair contributes completely to the formation of the C=N π‐bond and the C=N double bond character is stabilized.

Establishing a 3D Vascularized Tri‐Culture Model of the Human Airways via a Digital Light Processing Bioprinter

open access: yesBiotechnology and Bioengineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The rise in chronic lung diseases globally and the corresponding lag in drug discovery in this field highlights the need for In Vitro models closely mimicking In Vivo lung tissue. Efforts to date have largely focused on In Vitro coculture models, often neglecting the pulmonary vasculature's role in lung physiology and lacking perfusability. To

A Remarkable Ring Opening Observed in the Reaction of Cyclopropyl Ferrocenyl Thioketone with Triiron Dodecacarbonyl Fe3(CO)12

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 2022, Issue 36, December 27, 2022., 2022
Reaction of cyclopropyl ferrocenyl thioketone 1 with Fe3(CO)12 resulted in the formation of mononuclear η4‐1‐thia‐1,3‐diene‐type complex 2 and dinuclear η2‐acyl‐type complex 3, respectively. Their formation accompanied by a ring opening process of the cyclopropyl moiety was proposed to proceed via radical intermediates.

Research on catastrophe progression of driving load in mountainous road based on visual and environmental characteristics

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 5, Issue 1, January 2023., 2023
(1) The study found that the pupil area change rate, heart beat change rate and eyelid closure have good consistency for characterizing the driver's load. (2) In mountainous road, the driving load is different under different alignment conditions. The driving load is the largest when turning left, the second when turning right, and the smallest when ...
