We consider dynamical systems depending on one or more real parameters, and assuming that, for some ``critical'' value of the parameters, the eigenvalues of the linear part are resonant, we discuss the existence -- under suitable hypotheses -- of a general class of bifurcating solutions in correspondence to this resonance.

Dynamics of tuberculosis with fast and slow progression and media coverage
A new tuberculosis model with fast and slow progression and media coverage is formulated and analyzed. The basic reproductive number R0 is derived, and the existence and stability of all the equilibria are discussed.

Bifurcations of homoclinic orbits in bimodal maps [PDF]
We discuss the bifurcation structure of homoclinic orbits in bimodal one dimensional maps. The universal structure of these bifurcations with singular bifurcation points and the web of bifurcation lines through the parameter space are described. The bifurcations depend on two parameters (codimension 2 bifurcations).

Epigonic Totalitarianism in Russia
This article aims to identify the dynamics of the Russian political regime and explain its sources. The article addresses the research problems of what the dynamics of the Russian political regime entailed from the beginning of the Russo- Ukrainian war ...

Phase-Dependent Spontaneous Spin Polarization and Bifurcation Delay in Coupled Two-Component Bose-Einstein Condensates [PDF]
The spontaneous spin polarization and bifurcation delay in two-component Bose-Einstein condensates coupled with laser or/and radio-frequency pulses are investigated. We find that the bifurcation and the spontaneous spin polarization are determined by both physical parameters and relative phase between two condensates.

Effect of Circuit Breaker Shunt Resistance on Chaotic Ferroresonance in Voltage Transformer
Ferroresonance or nonlinear resonance is a complex electrical phenomenon, which may cause over voltages and over currents in the electrical power system which endangers the system reliability and continuous safe operating. This paper studies the effect

Bifurcations in Boolean Networks [PDF]
This paper characterizes the attractor structure of synchronous and asynchronous Boolean networks induced by bi-threshold functions. Bi-threshold functions are generalizations of standard threshold functions and have separate threshold values for the transitions $0 \rightarrow $1 (up-threshold) and $1 \rightarrow 0$ (down-threshold).
