Supramolecular Chalcogen‐Bonded Shape Memory Actuators
Supramolecular chalcogen‐bonded liquid crystal elastomers incorporating Se⋯N interactions exhibit distinct shape memory and actuation properties. Stronger Se⋯N ChBs enable programmable one‐way and two‐way SME, while weaker S⋯N ChBs fail to induce actuation.

Magnetic Fluid‐Driven Vine Robots for Minimally Invasive Tissue Biopsy Sampling
This study introduces a magnetic fluid‐powered vine robot for minimally invasive biopsies. The robot uses fluid pressurization for locomotion and external magnetic fields for precise steering. Its soft structure and high magnetic volume ensure controlled movements and stabilization, enabling effective tissue penetration.

Nanomechanical Systems for Reservoir Computing Applications
Nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS) are known for their strong nonlinear response, which can be conducive for reservoir computing. In this work, the authors build an NEMS‐based reservoir and investigate the classification accuracy as a function of drive levels and operation points.

Structure of optimal gradient flows bifurcations on closed surfaces [PDF]
We consider structure of typical gradient flows bifurcations on closed surfaces with minimal number of singular points. There are two type of such bifurcations: saddle-node (SN) and saddle connections (SC). The structure of a bifurcation is determinated by codimension one flow in the moment of bifurcation. We use the chord diagrams to specify the flows

Regions of existence of critical motions for the generalized Kowalevski top and bifurcation diagrams [PDF]
The paper concludes the cycle of investigations on the bifurcation diagrams of the system with three degrees of freedom which describes the motion of an axially symmetric top with the Kowalevski conditions in a double force field. The explicit inequalities are obtained defining the conditions for the existence of the critical motions on the surfaces ...

Monolithic Biohybrid Flexure Mechanism Actuated by Bioengineered Skeletal Muscle Tissue
A scalable, monolithic biohybrid flexure mechanism is presented, integrating engineered skeletal muscle tissue with a soft, biocompatible, hollow silicone cylinder featuring dual pillars. Muscle contraction induces bending motion upon electrical stimulation, with performance governed by the structure's flexural rigidity.

Abstract Premise Araliaceae comprise a moderately diverse, predominantly tropical angiosperm family with a limited fossil record. Gondwanan history of Araliaceae is hypothesized in the literature, but no fossils have previously been reported from the former supercontinent.
