Supramolecular Chalcogen‐Bonded Shape Memory Actuators

Supramolecular chalcogen‐bonded liquid crystal elastomers incorporating Se⋯N interactions exhibit distinct shape memory and actuation properties. Stronger Se⋯N ChBs enable programmable one‐way and two‐way SME, while weaker S⋯N ChBs fail to induce actuation.

Magnetic Fluid‐Driven Vine Robots for Minimally Invasive Tissue Biopsy Sampling

This study introduces a magnetic fluid‐powered vine robot for minimally invasive biopsies. The robot uses fluid pressurization for locomotion and external magnetic fields for precise steering. Its soft structure and high magnetic volume ensure controlled movements and stabilization, enabling effective tissue penetration.

Nanomechanical Systems for Reservoir Computing Applications

A scalable, monolithic biohybrid flexure mechanism is presented, integrating engineered skeletal muscle tissue with a soft, biocompatible, hollow silicone cylinder featuring dual pillars.
