Center manifold reduction for large populations of globally coupled phase oscillators

open access: yes, 2011
A bifurcation theory for a system of globally coupled phase oscillators is developed based on the theory of rigged Hilbert spaces. It is shown that there exists a finite-dimensional center manifold on a space of generalized functions. The dynamics on the

Bifurcation Analysis of a Class of Two-Delay Lotka–Volterra Predation Models with Coefficient-Dependent Delay

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, a class of two-delay differential equations with coefficient-dependent delay is studied. The distribution of the roots of the eigenequation is discussed, and conditions for the stability of the internal equilibrium and the existence of ...

Stability and Hopf bifurcation periodic orbits in delay coupled Lotka-Volterra ring system

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2019
In this paper, we consider a class of delay coupled Lotka-Volterra ring systems. Based on the symmetric bifurcation theory of delay differential equations and representation theory of standard dihedral groups, properties of phase locked periodic ...

Convergent and Divergent Connectivity Patterns of the Arcuate Fasciculus in Macaques and Humans

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study employs viral‐based single‐neuron tracing and dMRI‐based whole‐brain tractography to investigate arcuate fasciculus (AF) trajectories in macaque monkeys, and compares with the human AF connectome using spectral embedding. Results demonstrate conserved AF topography spanning temporoparietal‐auditory‐frontal pathways across primates, with ...

Singular bifurcations and regularization theory

open access: yesPhysical Review E
Several nonlinear and nonequilibrium driven as well as active systems (e.g. microswimmers) show bifurcations from one state to another (for example a transition from a non motile to motile state for microswimmers) when some control parameter reaches a critical value.

CD20+FCRL4+ B Cells Activate CD8+ T Cells via MHC‐I Restriction in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Anti‐Tumor Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CD20⁺FCRL4⁺ B cells in nasopharyngeal carcinoma actively cross‐present exogenous tumor antigens via MHC‐I, enhancing CD8⁺ T‐cell activation, memory formation, and cytotoxicity. IFNγ‐driven WDFY4 upregulation facilitates this process. These findings reveal an unconventional B‐cell–mediated antitumor mechanism and indicate potential relevance to ...

Global stability and bifurcation analysis of a delayed predator-prey system with prey immigration

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2016
A delayed predator-prey system with a constant rate immigration is considered. Local and global stability of the equilibria are studied, a fixed point bifurcation appears near the boundary equilibrium and Hopf bifurcation occurs near the positive ...

A Closed‐Loop Hybrid Discovery System of Type I Photosensitizers for Hypoxic Tumor Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The work developed a closed‐loop hybrid discovery system to rationally design and predict high‐performance Type I PSs for hypoxic tumor therapy. 664 Potential candidates are identified from a dataset through a support vector machine (SVM) classification model, and two candidates are experimentally verified as Type I PSs, which highlighted the potential

Coexistence of steady state for a diffusive prey-predator model with harvesting

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2016
In this article, we study a diffusive prey-predator model with modified Leslie-Gower term and Michaelis-Menten type prey harvesting, subject to homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions.

Bio‐Inspired Micro‐Fin‐Assisted Multi‐Modal Vascular Intervention

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A magnetic guidewire with a micro‐fin–integrated tip is introduced for multimodal cardiovascular navigation. The micro‐fins exploit fluid drag to augment magnetic torque, enabling bifurcation traversal at 15 mT, tolerating 45° misalignment, bidirectional crawling, and buckle self‐correction.
