Nonequilibrium Period with Emergence of Marangoni Circulations in Meniscus Splitting
The emergence and evolution of Marangoni convection in the meniscus splitting phenomenon are investigated. During the mass circulation of viscous fluids, the confluence and bifurcation of polymer dispersions beneath the evaporative interface lead to the inhomogeneous densification of the skin layer.

In the second part of this series of papers, we address the same evolution problem that was considered in part 1 (see [16]), namely the nonlocal Fisher-KPP equation in one spatial dimension, \begin{equation*} u_t = D u_{xx} + u(1-\phi *u), \end ...

Bifurcations and Transitions to Chaos in An Inverted Pendulum
We consider a parametrically forced pendulum with a vertically oscillating suspension point. It is well known that, as the amplitude of the vertical oscillation is increased, its inverted state (corresponding to the vertically-up configuration) undergoes

This article demonstrates that encasing a hyperelastic balloon in an inextensible sleeve greatly increases its burst pressure. This simple mechanical behavior can be used to produce an asymmetric inflation‐deflation sequence for coupled balloons with different thicknesses so they could serve as a soft robot's rear and front anchors when driven from a ...

Bifurcation Control of an Electrostatically-Actuated MEMS Actuator with Time-Delay Feedback
The parametric excitation system consisting of a flexible beam and shuttle mass widely exists in microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), which can exhibit rich nonlinear dynamic behaviors.

Untethered Magnetic Microswimmers for Targeted Particle Transport and Flow Manipulation
This work introduces magnetically actuated microswimmers to dynamically reconfigure fluid flow within a single microfluidic device. Multiple homogeneous microswimmers are independently controlled by an external magnetic field to perform translational and rotational motions, thereby inducing real‐time flow manipulation.

NLS Bifurcations on the bowtie combinatorial graph and the dumbbell metric graph
We consider the bifurcations of standing wave solutions to the nonlinear Schr\"odinger equation (NLS) posed on a quantum graph consisting of two loops connected by a single edge, the so-called dumbbell, recently studied by Marzuola and Pelinovsky.

Neimark-Sacker bifurcation, chaos, and local stability of a discrete Hepatitis C virus model
In this paper, we explore the bifurcation, chaos, and local stability of a discrete Hepatitis C virus infection model. More precisely, we studied the local stability at fixed points of a discrete Hepatitis C virus model.
