Strain‐Adaptive Dielectric Metamaterials via Bioinspired “Ligament‐Bone” Architecture for Ultrahigh‐Energy Capacitive Storage

A bioinspired strain‐adaptive ligament‐bone architecture achieves record‐high energy density of 26.1 J cm−3 and 90% efficiency at 600 MV m−1, coupled with a Young's modulus of 2.13 GPa. A portable, sensorized, and controlled dexterous thumb‐enhanced glove helps stroke survivors swipe phones, twist caps, and perform other tasks. It is based on a powerful continuously, segmented origami dual chamber actuator to achieve active thumb CMC and MCP joint assistance and passively extend the IP joint.

Thermoelectric PANI/TeNWs Fiber Based Microsensor for Passive Temperature and Active Chemical Sensing

Continuous wet‐spinning of PANI with TeNWs yields a multifunctional microfiber. Oriented TeNWs impose chain alignment and enhance π‐electron delocalization, boosting the Seebeck coefficient to 59.9 µV K−1 for passive temperature sensing (1 K detection limit), while achieving high pH sensitivity (59.25 mV pH−1) and rapid NH3 response (0.96 s).
