The Saalschütz chain reactions and bilateral basic hypergeometric series [PDF]
By iterating recursively the q-Saalschutz summation formula, we introduce the Saalschutz chain reactions. A general series transform, which expresses a nonterminating bilateral series in terms of a finite multiple unilateral sum, will be established. As applications we derive, by means of Bailey’s 6ψ6 -series identity, several bilateral transformations

Certain product theorems for bilateral hypergeometric series
Introduction. Agarwalin 1953 ((1)) gave the most general transformations involving bilateral cognate trigonometrical series of the hypergeometric type. Later, Shukla in 1957 ((2)) gave certain relations involving the products of two bilateral hypergeometric series.

Certain transformations of bilateral cognate trigonometrical series of the hypergeometric type
Recently (2) I gave certain transformations involving cognate trigonometrical series of the hypergeometric type. The arguments of the ordinary bilateral hypergeometric series involved were unity. In this paper, using the same technique applied in the above paper some general transformations have been established which further generalize the previous ...

The basic bilateral hypergeometric series and the mock theta functions
S. Ramanujan introduced the mock theta functions in his last letter to G.H. Hardy. In his letter and Lost Notebook, he presented mock theta functions and their identities. The expression of each mock theta function relies on the hypergeometric series. G.N.

More Semi-Finite Forms of Bilateral Basic Hypergeometric Series
We prove some new semi-finite forms of bilateral basic hypergeometric series. One of them yields in a direct limit Bailey’s celebrated 6ψ6 summation formula, answering a question recently raised by Chen and Fu.
