On certain transformations of poly-basic bilateral hypergeometric series

open access: yesJournal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, 2003
The authors establish transformations of poly-basic bilateral hypergeometric series in terms of another similar series not necessary having the same number of bases. As application of the obtained results, they derive expressions of the product of two \(q\)-series in terms of another product of two series which lead to interesting transformations of ...

A CASE SERIES OF BILATERAL BRANCHIAL SINUS

GLOBAL JOURNAL FOR RESEARCH ANALYSIS
Period of organogenesis is of very precise duration and any factor affecting this period leads to congenital anomaly. Bilateral branchial anomalies are rare (2-3%) increased incidence in familial cases1. Although present at birth, many cases do not become evident until late in childhood and adolescence.

Four derivations of an interesting bilateral series generalizing the series for zeta of 2

International Journal of Mathematical Education in Science and Technology, 2012
We present four derivations of the closed form of the partial fractions expansion This interesting series is a generalization of the series made famous by Euler.

A note on the sums of certain bilateral hypergeometric series

Mathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, 1959
Some years ago M. Jackson(5) obtained the sum of a particular 3H3 series which generalized the theorems of Whipple and Watson on sums of a 3F2 series, and later she(6) deduced the sum of a particular well-poised 6H6( – 1) series. In this note sums of certain particular bilateral hypergeometric series of the same type are given.
