From January 1993 to December 1995, complete records of patients with biliary neoplasms were analysed. A total of 124 patients were registered. Majority of patients were in the age range of 40-60 years (median 54 years). There were 38 males and 86 females. Histopathologically, adenocarcinoma was the commonest type (59%).
