Journal of Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Sciences, Volume 30, Issue 1, Page 102-110, January 2023., 2023 Ioka and colleagues present the results of a phase III study comparing gemcitabine and cisplatin plus S‐1 (GCS) with gemcitabine and cisplatin for unresectable or recurrent biliary tract cancer. GCS demonstrated survival benefits and a higher response rate, and could be the new standard chemotherapy for advanced biliary tract cancer.
