Interpolation of some spaces of Orlicz type. II: Bilinear interpolation

open access: yes, 1989
A result on interpolation of bilinear operators on A f,F spaces is proved. The corresponding results of Lions and Peetre as well as Zafran turn out to be particular cases of the one given here.

Plating and double‐loop cerclage wiring improve the mechanical performance of the femoral stem after Zurich cementless total hip replacement in cats

open access: yesVeterinary Surgery, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective To compare the biomechanical performance of adjunctive locking plating and double‐loop cerclage wiring in feline femora implanted with Zurich cementless total hip replacement (THR) stems. Study design Cadaveric biomechanical study. Animals Paired femora (n = 32) from 16 feline cadavers.

Can Flash Flood Risk Index Be an Early Warning Signal of Flash Floods in Ungauged Basin?

open access: yesJournal of Flood Risk Management, Volume 19, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Flash flooding is amongst the most severe natural hazards, causing widespread socioeconomic impacts across both wet regions and drylands. In ungauged mountainous basins, effective risk warning based on hydrodynamic modelling is challenging due to sparse hydrological observations and complex terrain.

Tropical Rainforests Exhibit Higher Multidimensional Stability Than Rubber Plantations Despite Lower Resistance to Temperature Anomalies

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 3, 16 February 2026.
Abstract Rapid rubber plantations (RB) expansion in Southeast Asia raises critical questions about regional ecosystem stability. We compared stability between monoculture RB and diverse tropical rainforests (RF) using 37 years of satellite‐derived gross primary productivity across three metrics: long‐term temporal stability, resilience, and resistance ...

Sharp commutator estimates of all order for Coulomb and Riesz modulated energies

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 2, Page 207-292, February 2026.
Abstract We prove functional inequalities in any dimension controlling the iterated derivatives along a transport of the Coulomb or super‐Coulomb Riesz modulated energy in terms of the modulated energy itself. This modulated energy was introduced by the second author and collaborators in the study of mean‐field limits and statistical mechanics of ...

Seismic Structural Response and Loss Estimation for Dense Urban Districts Using Neural Network Parameterized Gaussian Process

open access: yesEarthquake Engineering &Structural Dynamics, Volume 55, Issue 2, Page 397-412, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Earthquakes pose a major threat to urban areas, causing fatalities, injuries, and significant economic losses. This study proposes a Gaussian process parametrized by deep neural networks (DNN–GP) as an efficient surrogate for assessing seismic losses of building structures at a regional scale.
