Enhancing Deoxygenation of a Biopetroleum Model Compound Using Mesoporous Beta Zeolite

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 1, 15 January 2026.
Beta zeolite with 13 SAR is modified by alkaline and acidalkaline treatments to generate mesoporosity and improve accessibility of bulky molecules. Characterization confirms enhanced silicon removal and mesopore volume. In catalytic deoxygenation of a lignocellulosic‐derived model compound, treated BEA shows reduced oxygenates, higher hydrocarbon yield,

Organocatalytic Acetalization of Aldehydes Utilizing N‐Heterocyclic Iod(az)olium Salts as the Halogen‐Bonding Catalysts

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 1, 15 January 2026.
A mild and organocatalytic protocol for the acetalization of aldehydes is demonstrated, employing iod(az)olium salts as the halogen‐bonding catalysts. Combined computational and experimental studies helped us identify the optimum catalyst to promote the reaction.

Computational Experiments Probing the Adaptability of the [NCCH2]− Electronic Structure to Various Bonding Environments

open access: yesChemPhysChem, Volume 27, Issue 2, January 2026.
Metalated nitriles are organometallic chameleons in solution, existing as a structural duality of N‐ and C‐metalated species exhibiting specific reactivities. With density functional theory (DFT) calculations and natural bond orbital analyses, it is explored how the metal nature (Li, Na, K, Cs, Cu(I)) and the chemical environment (ligand, solvation ...

Corporate Social Responsibility Leadership and Organizational Performance: Exploring Resource Collaboration Networks in the Case of Global Contractors

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Volume 33, Issue 1, Page 345-361, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is increasingly recognized as a strategic lever for enhancing organizational performance in construction, yet research on this nexus remains sparse. This study investigates how CSR practices generate organizational benefits through resource collaboration networks.
