Unveiling Formation Pathways of Ternary I–III–VI CuInS2 Quantum Dots and Their Effect on Photoelectrochemical Hydrogen Generation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The formation pathways of CuInS2 quantum dots are explored through in situ and ex situ characterization. The Lewis acid strength of cation precursors dictates synthesis routes, leading to either indirect or direct nucleation. These routes significantly impact the electrical and photoelectrochemical properties.

Single‐Cell RNA Sequencing Delineates Renal Anti‐Fibrotic Mechanisms Mediated by TRPC6 Inhibition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐cell transcriptomics reveals how TRPC6 inhibition alters renal cell composition and gene expression in CKD. The study uncovers a novel endothelial subpopulation (ECRIN), highlights key inflammatory and fibrotic pathways, and identifies a Prnp‐driven network linked to fibrosis resolution, offering mechanistic insight into TRPC6 as a potential ...

Proteomics‐Empowered Microfluidic‐SERS Immunoassay for Identifying and Detecting Biomarkers of Micropapillary Lung Adenocarcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The presence of a micropapillary (MPP) component is critical for lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) surgery, yet reliable blood biomarkers remain lacking. This study integrates proteomics for biomarker identification, a nanomixing‐enhanced surface‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) platform for sensitive detection, and machine learning for accurate ...

Recycling Defunct Lithium‐Ion Battery Cathodes to Quaternary Layered Double Hydroxides for Efficient Oxygen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Li(Co0.8Ni0.1Mn0.1)O2 and LiFePO4 cathode materials are functional recycled by simple leaching and co‐precipitation methods to synthesize Quaternary iron‐nickel‐cobalt‐manganese hydrotalcites as oxygen‐evolution‐reaction catalysts. The highly disordered structure and strong electronic interactions between metal cations result in excellent catalytic ...

Attenuated Nuclear Tension Regulates Progerin‐Induced Mechanosensitive Nuclear Wrinkling and Chromatin Remodeling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The premature aging‐related progerin leads to defective nuclear morphology and is associated with disrupted molecular coupling between the extranuclear cytoskeleton and lamin‐associated nuclear envelope. It is discovered that progerin expression reduces nuclear tension, forms nuclear wrinkling, and enhances chromatin dynamics, thereby regulating ...

DDX3 Regulates the Cap‐Independent Translation of the Japanese Encephalitis Virus via Its Interactions with PABP1 and the Untranslated Regions of the Viral Genome

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) employs a cap‐independent (CI) translation strategy to evade host translational shutoff. During the shut‐off of host cellular canonical translation, DEAD‐box protein 3 (DDX3) bind to JEV UTRs to establish a closed‐loop architecture, and its interaction with poly(A)‐binding protein 1 (PABP1) to form DDX3/PABP1/eIF4G ...
