Where are the binary source galactic microlensing events?
Though there have been some galactic microlensing events which show a clear signature of a binary lens, no event has yet been claimed as due to lensing of a binary source. Here I argue that this may be due to the fact that most of the binary source events show light curves which can be fitted with the simpler model of a blended single source.

A Close Binary Lens Revealed by the Microlensing Event Gaia20bof
During the last 25 yr, hundreds of binary stars and planets have been discovered toward the Galactic bulge by microlensing surveys. Thanks to a new generation of large-sky surveys, it is now possible to regularly detect microlensing events across the ...

OGLE-2017-BLG-0448Lb: A Low Mass–Ratio Wide-orbit Microlensing Planet?
The gravitational microlensing technique is most sensitive to planets in a Jupiter-like orbit and has detected more than 200 planets. However, only a few wide-orbit ( s > 2) microlensing planets have been discovered, where s is the planet-to-host ...

MOA-2010-BLG-328: Keck and HST Expose the Limits of Occams Razor in Microlensing
We present high-resolution follow-up data of the microlensing event MOA-2010-BLG-328, using Keck and the Hubble Space Telescope. Keck data, taken 8 yr after the event, reveal a strong lens detection enabling measurement of lens flux and source-lens ...

Currently, gravitational microlensing survey experiments toward the Galactic bulge field utilize two different methods of minimizing blending effect for the accurate determination of the optical depth τ. One is measuring τbased on clump giant (CG) source stars and the other is using `Difference Image Analysis (DIA)' photometry to measure the unblended ...
