Binder Jet Printing in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
2018Binder jet printing is arguably the most successful three-dimensional printing (3DP) technology in the pharmaceutical industry to date. In 2015, the binder jet process was adapted as an alternative mass manufacturing technique to enable the production of Spritam® (the first 3D printed tablet) approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Quantification of Recoating Forces in Binder Jetting
Binder jetting in sand has recently become increasingly important for production in additive manufacturing. The performance of this process depends very much on the recoating speed. It is linked to the geometric accuracy of the components. If the recoating speed is too high, individual layers are displaced.Burger, R. +3 more
