Gold‐Stabilized Copper Enables Anodic Hydrogen Evolution for Ultralow‐Voltage CO‐to‐Ethylene Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Gold‐stabilized copper suppresses hydroxide‐driven deactivation during anodic hydrogen evolution from furfural. Pairing this low‐potential anode with CO‐to‐ethylene electroreduction enables sub‐1 V operation at 400 mA cm−2, high single‐pass CO conversion, and co‐production of ethylene, furoic acid, and a separate hydrogen stream.

Sustainable and Multifunctional Natural Macromolecular Polymers for Aqueous Zn Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We comprehensively review the structure‐function relationships and regulatory mechanism of natural macromolecular polymers in stabilizing zinc anodes at the microscopic and mesoscopic scales. The interactions among polymer structures, optimization strategies, and regulatory mechanisms are discussed systematically summarizing recent related research ...

Influence of powder type and binder saturation on binder jet 3D–printed and sintered Inconel 625 samples

International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, 2021
Binder jet 3D printing combined with post-deposition sintering is a non-beam additive manufacturing (AM) method for the creation of complex 3-dimensional structures. Binder saturation and particle morphology are two important factors affecting the quality of printed parts.

Capillary pressure and saturation of pore-controlled granules for powder bed binder jetting

Applied Surface Science, 2020
Abstract Powder bed binder jetting (PBBJ) is an additive manufacturing process in which a liquid binder is selectively deposited onto a powder bed to join the powder particles. These deposited parts, called the “green body,” are shaped by ink-jetting a liquid binder onto the powder bed. For liquid binders to be fully cured in the intended area of the
