This study establishes a novel algebraic connection between Horadam numbers and the split quaternion algebra. To this end, two fundamental constructs are introduced: the Fibonacci Sq,r-split quaternions and the Horadam sq,r-split quaternions, which ...

Association Between Micronutrients and Cognitive Performance Among Adolescents and Young Adults Living With Sickle Cell Disease in Kumasi, Ghana: A Cross-Sectional Study. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Aim Cognitive deficits are commonly reported in patients with sickle cell disease (SCD). Dietary micronutrient intake is a potential modifiable risk factor whose relationship with cognition in SCD patients remains poorly characterised. This study aimed to determine the association between dietary micronutrient intake and cognition among these ...

Beyond the Pulmonary Functions: Altered Cognitive-Motor Performance and Motor Imagery in Children With Bronchiectasis. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Background Bronchiectasis (BE) is a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease characterized by bronchial dilatation and structural damage due to persistent inflammation and infections. While pulmonary impairments in BE are extensively documented, cognitive‐motor functions and motor imagery in children with BE remain understudied.

In this article, we study a novel extension of the classic balancing numbers, referred to as the higher-order balancing numbers and denoted by. This sequence is analogous to the higher-order Fibonacci numbers and follows the same recurrence relation as ...

Some properties and extended Binet’s formula for the class of bifurcating Fibonacci sequence
One of the generalizations of Fibonacci sequence is a -Fibonacci sequence, which is further generalized in several other ways, some by conserving the initial conditions and others by conserving the related recurrence relation.

Birch Transpiration Is Not the Main Reason for Insufficient Water Levels in a Rewetted Bog
ABSTRACT Natural bogs have high water level (WL) that prevents peat decomposition and promotes bog‐specific vegetation. Especially in rewetted bogs, increasing tree encroachment is observed in combination with low WL. Simultaneously, a general shift in vegetation and microform distribution is visible.

Abstract Carbonate weathering carbon‐sink (CWCS) is a critical yet inaccurately quantified component of terrestrial carbon sequestration. However, the mechanisms through which climate change and vegetation dynamics drive the spatial heterogeneity of CWCS remain unclear.
