Melonic phase transition in group field theory
Group field theories have recently been shown to admit a 1/N expansion dominated by so-called `melonic graphs', dual to triangulated spheres. In this note, we deepen the analysis of this melonic sector.

Tools for relatedness: “Fetishes” in Burkina Faso and the work of enacted metaphors
Abstract In West Africa, certain objects can act in the world and interact with people as subjects. Labeled “fetishes” by Europeans, these material things have generated centuries of debates on the nature of their agency. In this article, I rely on participant fieldwork as a student in a group of initiated donso hunters in Burkina Faso, which involved ...

Classification of area‐strict limits of planar BV homeomorphisms
Abstract We present a classification of area‐strict limits of planar BV$BV$ homeomorphisms. This class of mappings allows for cavitations and fractures but fulfil a suitable generalisation of the INV condition of Müller and Spector (Arch. Rational Mech. Anal. 131 (1995), no. 1, 1–66). As pointed out by J.

A Historical Analysis of The Padovan Sequence
In the present text, we present some possibilities to formalize the mathematical content and a historical context, referring to a numerical sequence of linear and recurrent form, known as Sequence of Padovan or Cordonnier.

Abstract INTRODUCTION Adults with Down syndrome demonstrate striatum‐first amyloid accumulation with [11C]Pittsburgh Compound‐B (PiB) positron emission tomography (PET) imaging, which has not been replicated with [18F]florbetapir (FBP). Early striatal accumulation has not been temporally quantified with respect to global cortical measures.
