Purification of Disassembled Capsid Protein by Hydroxyapatite Chromatography Enhances Virus‐Like Particle Recovery

open access: yesBiotechnology and Bioengineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Virus‐like particles (VLPs) are a promising modality with extensive applications in prophylactic and therapeutic vaccine design. Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines are one such example where VLP vaccine applications have led to the successful reduction in HPV‐associated diseases, such as cervical cancer.

Thermal performance of Joule heating in radiative Eyring-Powell nanofluid with Arrhenius activation energy and gyrotactic motile microorganisms

open access: yesHeliyon
Background: Bioconvection is the term for macroscopic convection of particles accompanied by a variable density gradient and a cluster of swimming microorganisms. The accumulation of gyrotactic microbes in the nanoparticles is important to exaggerate the

Microwave‐assisted catalytic pyrolysis of textile wastes: Synergistic effects and product characteristics

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
Abstract This study examines the microwave‐assisted catalytic pyrolysis (MACP) of individual and blended textiles (cotton, polyester, nylon 6) using ZnO and a ZnO/natural zeolite catalyst. In a custom‐built microwave reactor operated at 500°C, 1 kW power, and a 15‐min residence time, textile wastes were pyrolyzed.

Closing the Loop in Agrivoltaics: A Radiative Cooling Coating for Synergistic Self‐Cleaning and Water Harvesting

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A nanostructured photonic‐thermal coating enables radiative‐cooling‐induced condensation and water harvesting, establishing a self‐sustaining agrivoltaics microclimate loop that transforms PV panels into active climate regulators. The integration of photovoltaic (PV) panels into agricultural landscapes (i.e., agrivoltaics) offers a promising path for ...
