MagPiezo enables wireless activation of endogenous Piezo1 channels without genetic modification using 19 nm magnetic nanoparticles and low‐intensity magnetic fields. It generates torque forces at the piconewton scale to trigger mechanotransduction in endothelial cells, standing as a novel platform to interrogate and manipulate Piezo1 activity in vitro.

Steam reforming of bio-oil: Effect of bio-oil composition and stability
Hydrogen can be obtained from biomass pyrolysis liquids by catalytic steam reforming. Catalyst deactivation by coking and the formation of carbon deposits are the major known limitations although the specific causes are unidentified. It is proposed that these limitations could be reduced by selectively reforming specific fractions of the bio-oil.

Effects of Molecular Designs and Double‐Network Morphologies for Bioadhesive Semiconductors
This study establishes molecular‐to‐mesoscale design rules for bioadhesive semiconducting polymers (BASCs). It identifies how side‐chain length, double‐network formation, and film thickness modulate adhesion strength and electronic performance, providing insight into the rational design of intrinsically adhesive semiconductors for stable and efficient ...

comparison of bio-oil produced in a fractionated bio-oil collection system
Fast pyrolysis bio-oil, char and non-condensable gases were produced from a 8 kg/hr fluidized bed reactor. The bio-oil was collected in a fractionating bio-oil collection system that produced multiple fractions of bio-oil. This bio-oil was fractionated through two separate, but equally important, mechanisms within the collection system.

An upgraded bio-oil produced from sugarcane bagasse via the use of HZSM-5 zeolite catalyst
The pyrolysis upgrading of bio-oil from sugarcane bagasse (SB) using ZSM-5 zeolite catalyst was carried out in a fixed bed reactor to determine the effects of heating rate, temperature, and catalyst/biomass ratio on yield of bio-oil and their chemical ...

We characterized the distribution of cargo proteins associated with extracellular vesicles using various exogenous loading methods. In all cases, single‐particle analysis revealed that the distribution of protein content per EV is heterogeneous, following an exponential decay function.
