Retreatability of root canals obturated using a bioceramic sealer and gutta percha [PDF]
The use of bioceramic sealers may, on occasion, complicate endodontic retreatment. This is due to their hard setting nature as well as adherence to root dentine which makes them more challenging to dislodge from root canals.

ABSTRACT This systematic review has investigated whether the preoperative periapical radiographic status (PPRS) is a predictor of VPT success/survival. Four databases were searched for studies published from inception to November 2024. The studies' characteristics were tabulated, and a meta‐analysis was performed to evaluate the correlation between ...

Selective Root Canal Retreatment: A Scoping Review and Metasynthesis by Thematic Analysis
ABSTRACT Selective root canal retreatment preserves well‐filled canals by treating only roots showing clinical or imaging evidence of failure, providing a minimally invasive alternative to conventional full retreatment. This scoping review, supported by metasynthesis through thematic analysis, synthesised clinical and imaging evidence in multirooted ...

Abstract The aim of this study was to evaluate whether the experimental sealers, composed of tricalcium silicate (CaSi) and CaSi supplemented with calcium hypochlorite (CaSi‐H), stimulate tissue repair. The tissue response of experimental materials was compared with commercially available materials Bio‐C sealer (BC sealer) and BioRoot (BROOT ...

BIOCERAMIC-BASED ROOT CANAL SEALERS: A REVIEW
The search for a perfect root canal obturation led to the develop of a new class of materials. Tricalcium silicat base sealer or bioceramic sealers are the answers to some problems that appeared with traditional warm obturation techniques. The aim of this review is to evaluate the new material based on literature findings.
