Modeling of biochemical parameters
Model Assisted Statistics and Applications, 2011Bhattacharyya et al. [1,2] studied the body mass index of students of a tertiary level referral and teaching hospital. They have studied their family history, lifestyle, eating habit, and biochemical parameters to identify factors affecting the body mass index.

The influence of amitraz on biochemical parameters in mice
Human & Experimental Toxicology, 2003In this study, the effect of amitraz on biochemical parameters of mice was studied. Mice were given amitraz by gavage at 15 or 45 mg/kg body weight. Since the drug was diluted with dimethylsulphoxide (DMSO), it was administered to another experimental animal group in order to determine its own effects on biochemical parameters.

Biochemical parameters of normal rabbit serum
Clinical Biochemistry, 1979An attempt was made to establish the normal range of 27 different parameters in the serum of 45 healthy, purebred, New Zealand White rabbits (3-5 kg). The reproducibility of the results was acceptable. Sensitive isoenzyme patterns (LDH, CK) could change, however, significantly if different methods were used in the bleeding procedure. Isoenzyme patterns

Hemorheological and biochemical parameters in the “fatty” rat
Biorheology, 1982The essential part played by rheological factors in genesis of thrombosis and atherosclerosis has often been mentioned. Thus the authors have carried out a study of rheological and biochemical parameters on a genetic animal model with modifications in plasma lipids (homozygous obese “Fatty” rat) compared to the non obese heterozygous animal.

Biochemical Parameters in Chronic Renal Failure
American Journal of Kidney Diseases, 1988We analyzed biochemical data derived from 911 patients with renal insufficiency observed at our institution for periods up to 7 years. During early renal failure (RF) (creatinine less than 5 mg/dL), the rate of change of hematocrit, total CO2 (tCO2) and urea per unit change of creatinine was significantly higher than during moderate (creatinine between

Effect of eltrombopag on biochemical assay parameters
Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical AnalysisEltrombopag, which is used to treat thrombocytopenia, causes bilirubin-like yellowish-brown serum discoloration and interferes with biochemical parameter measurements. However, the extent of these interferences and the methods and reagents involved remain unclear.

EFFECT OF TENOXICAM ON BIOCHEMICAL SERUM PARAMETERS OF RATS
Drug Metabolism and Drug Interactions, 1999Tenoxicam is a nonsteroidal analgesic of the oxicam group, which possesses both antipyretic and anti-inflammatory characteristics. The use of tenoxicam has recently increased and it is reported in the literature that treatments lasting between a few weeks to three months caused increases in serum alanine transferase (ALT), aspartate transferase (AST ...

[Hormonal and biochemical parameters in varicocele].
AMB : revista da Associacao Medica Brasileira, 1981Eight-seven patients were studied and divided in three groups: patients with varicocele and abnormal seminal fluid (47 cases), patients with varicocele and normal spermiograms (10 cases), and normal individuals (30 cases). Blood samples for hormonal dosages of FSH, LH, and testosterone were taken through puncture of a peripheral vein.

Computational Intelligence for Parameter Estimation of Biochemical Systems
2018 IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation (CEC), 2018In the field of Systems Biology, simulating the dynamics of biochemical models represents one of the most effective methodologies to understand the functioning of cellular processes in normal or altered conditions. However, the lack of kinetic rates, necessary to perform accurate simulations, strongly limits the scope of these analyses.

Proximate parameter tuning for biochemical networks with uncertain kinetic parameters
Molecular BioSystems, 2007Abstract It is commonly the case in biochemical modelling that we have knowledge of the qualitative ‘structure’ of a model and some measurements of the time series of the variables of interest (concentrations and fluxes), but little or no knowledge of the model's parameters.
