Biocybernetic related applications involving neural networks
7th Computers in Aerospace Conference, 1989Three programming methodologies are compared for their effectiveness in solving a signal processing application relating to pilot-vehicle interfaces. The application chosen was identification of cognitive event related potentials (P300s) from an electroencephalogram (EEG) response. Analysis of thls signal can provide an indication of a pilot's response

Biocybernetic Control in Man-Machine Interaction
1975Abstract : A progress report is presented of a project directed toward the evaluation and implementation of man-machine command and control procedures that incorporate neuroelectric signals directly derived from the brain. This document first reports on the current state of the project.

Biocybernetics of the Central Nervous System.
Archives of Neurology, 1969This book contains the proceedings of an international symposium held in Washington, DC, which was planned as a sequel to the 1957 symposium on the Reticular Formation of the Brain. In the present symposium, unlike the preceding one, great emphasis is placed on the utilization of mathematical and engineering concepts in neurophysiological ...

Biocybernetics: An Interactive Man-Machine Interface
1973Abstract : The research project described deals with the capability of training a human subject to control and/or interact with complex electronic or mechanical systems. Basically the project involves the detection of bioelectrical phenomena that are analogs of ongoing cognitive processes and the utilization of these phenomena to control external ...

[Nystagmometry and biocybernetics (author's transl)].
Archives of oto-rhino-laryngology, 1980Nystagmus can be predicted or simulated by means of mathematical models. If the simulation seems to be successful the parameters of the model may be used for an adequate description of the nystagmic response. Considering the biocybernetics of the vestibulo-oculomotor system a minimal extent of computer-nystagmometry is determined.

[Biocybernetics and physiology yesterday and today].
Ceskoslovenska fysiologie, 1996In the first part of the article authors characterize briefly the biocybernetics as a branch of science and substantiate why it should be considered as an integral constituent of biological sciences, and consequently of the physiology, too. In the second part they are paying attention to the reasons and policies for embodying selected biocybernetical ...

Biocybernetic Adaptation as Biofeedback Training Method
2014A method developed for adapting an automated flight control system to user state has been applied to the process of biofeedback training. This repurposing enables alternative mechanisms for delivering physiological information feedback to the trainee via a method referred to as physiological modulation.

Driver’s Biocybernetic Monitoring and Early Warning System
2012The paper describes a method and a device for a current permanent observation of driver’s response in the road traffic was described. The task of presented system is not only the "on-line" analysis of the human behavior but primarily the determination of the physiological changes and their fuzzy classification in order to determine the states ...
