A micro-computed tomography evaluation of voids using calcium silicate-based materials in teeth with simulated internal root resorption [PDF]
ObjectivesThe obturation quality of MTA, Biodentine, Total Fill BC root canal sealer (RCS), and warm gutta-percha (WGP) in teeth with simulated internal root resorption (IRR) was evaluated by using micro-computed tomography.Materials and ...

In situ assessment of the setting of tricalcium silicate–based sealers using a Dentin pressure model [PDF]
Introduction EndoSequence BC Sealer (Brasseler, Savannah, GA) is a premixed tricalcium silicate–based root canal sealer that requires moisture from the root dentin to hydrate.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to compare the physicochemical properties of EndoSequence Root Repair Material (ERRM) Fast and CeraPutty with ProRoot MTA and Biodentine, focusing on setting time, radiopacity, microhardness, and pH. Setting time was measured using a Gilmore‐type indenter applied every 5 min until no indentation was observed (n = 15 per group).

Effect of smear clear and some other commonly used irrigants on dislodgement resistance of mineral trioxide aggregate to root dentin [PDF]
This study aimed to assess the push-out bond strength of mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) to root canal dentin after irrigation with Smear Clear in comparison with 2.5% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), 2% chlorhexidine (CHX) and saline as commonly used root ...

Biodentine VS MTA: A comparitive analysis
An ideal dental repair material should possess certain exclusive properties such as adequate adhesive ability, dimensional stability, biocompatibility, bioactivity etc. Calcium silicate based materials seem to have intrinsic properties suitable for their clinical use, such as good sealing correlated to expansion, and the ability to set in the presence ...

ABSTRACT Aim To assess the eruption patterns and progression of external replacement root resorption of eight teeth that were avulsed and had delayed replantation treated by regenerative endodontic treatment (RET). Methodology In total, 102 traumatised anterior teeth were treated with regenerative endodontic treatment (RET) between December 2016 and ...
