Biodentine je dostupan na tržištu od 2009. godine kada je predstavljen kao "materijal za nadoknadu dentina". Biodentine je dvokomponentni materijal koji se dobiva mješanjem praha i tekućine. Prah čini trikalcijev silikat, dikalcijev silikat, kalcijev karbonat i cirkonijev dioksid, koji ima funkciju radioopaknosti.
