ABSTRACT Achieving Agenda 2030 depends on addressing interactions between the sustainable development goals (SDGs). In this paper, we conceptualize SDG interactions as synergies or trade‐offs, incoming or outgoing, and internal or external, and analyze how SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) interacts with other SDGs within and across policy programmes that support ...

ABSTRACT Sustainable development (SD) was introduced in 1987 by the Brundtland Commission report. This leads to the induction of the circular economy (CE). Within these two frameworks, biogas technology plays a crucial role in facilitating the transformation of organic waste into energy and organic fertilizer without producing non‐recyclable waste ...

Batch biodigesters efficiency in anaerobic biodigestion waste of swine

THE DEPLOYMENT OF BIODIGESTER SYSTEMS IN RURAL PROPERTIES
Swine production has a strong impact on the national and international meat economy. However, this type of agribusiness generates solid and liquid wastes which impact the environment when deposited inadequately. An alternative for the treatment of these effluents would combine appropriate management of residual biomass to the digester system.
