ABSTRACT Introduction Oxytocin is expressed throughout the small intestine, suggesting a role for oxytocin in postprandial metabolism. Accordingly, single‐dose intranasal oxytocin reduces food intake and improves glucose tolerance. We investigated the effects of a continuous intravenous oxytocin infusion on ad libitum food intake, appetite sensations ...

A mangrove‐derived electrogenic microbial consortium was successfully acclimated to codegrade ethylbenzene and xylenes in a microbial fuel cell (MFC). Acclimation provided high degradation efficiencies (up to 97%) and improved energy recovery. The MFC reached voltage of 520 mV and power density of 63.4 mW m−2.

Shaping of Biohybrid Functional Living Materials
This work demonstrates a strategy for shaping living mycelium into functional materials by directing its natural growth. Nanoparticles armor hyphae, micron‐scale particles entangle within the network, and printed hydrogel architectures steer expansion, creating defined geometries.
