Microsphere‐Templated Conductive Syntactic Foams for Recyclable and Additively Manufactured Soft Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a microsphere‐templated strategy to fabricate reprocessable PEDOT:PSS syntactic foams with tunable porosity, stable conductivity, and 3D printability. In situ PEDOT:PSS coatings create a conductive network that maintains electrical performance at high void fractions.

All‐Polyimide‐Mediated Liquid Metal Assembly on Aerogels for Breathable and Robust Electronic Skins

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐polyimide‐mediated assembly strategy resolves the fundamental conflict between physiological breathability and electromechanical robustness in wearable electronics. By integrating a polyamic acid‐encapsulated liquid metal ink onto an ultralight polyimide aerogel, imidization‐induced contraction enables low‐temperature conductive activation and ...

Parallel Electrical Integration of Photo Bio Electrochemical Systems (photo‐BESs): Performance Gains and Load Dependency

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Parallel wiring of bioelectrochemical devices with conventional generators unexpectedly boosts output. A biophotovoltaic paired with a solar cell delivers up to 50% more power at low loads than their separate contributions; a plant microbial fuel cell shows similar current gains.

Exploring the Bioelectricity of Fruits as Sources for Sustainable and Renewable Energy

open access: yesBioelectricity
The ever-increasing annual consumption of electrical energy for daily activities will unavoidably harm the financial well-being of individuals. Nonetheless, the availability of fuel sources that generate electrical energy including fossil fuels, oil, and coal remains decreasing, which results in becoming scarcer than ever. Conversely, fruits are one of
