Concentrated biogas slurry and biogas residue can improve the yield and quality of pepper

Environmental Technology
The organic fertilizer (biogas slurry and biogas residues) was produced by the self-developed integrated device of "Pressure swirl / inclined plate sedimentation separation pretreatment (P/I) combined with ultrafiltration / reverse osmosis two stages membrane separation (UF/RO)".

Effect of Biogas Slurry on Biogas Production for Anaerobic Digestion of Corn Straws

Advanced Materials Research, 2013
The study determined the biogas production potential of different concentrations of biogas slurry co-digested with cornstalk at the TS of 8%. It turned out that pure biogas slurry mixed with cornstalk had the best performance. Besides, using biogas slurry without adding any water could keep the pH of the system at 6.9-7.2, while acidification happened ...

Treatment of Biogas Slurry by Microalgae

2019
Küresel ısınma, bugün dünyada endişe veren sorun haline gelmiştir. Küresel iklim değişikliğinin temel kaynağı insan faaliyetleri için ihtiyaç duyulan enerjiyi sağlayan fosil yakıtlardan açığa çıkan sera gazlarının artan miktarlarıdır. Bilim adamları, sera gazlarının azaltılması yoluyla küresel ısınmaya çözüm bulmaya çalışmaktadır. Biyodizel, biyoetanol

Biogas slurry: Applications and Challenges

A loss in crop output caused by the predominance of numerous abiotic and biotic stresses prompts a faster use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides in agricultural areas. Such chemical inputs not only represent a hazard to human life, but also have more severe environmental repercussions.

Anoxic biodesulfurization using biogas digestion slurry in biotrickling filters

Journal of Cleaner Production, 2019
Abstract In this study, an alternative technology for using chemically produced nitrate/nitrite as an electron acceptor for biogas anoxic desulfurization was developed. The method was validated through the investigation of the impacts of loading rate, trickling liquid velocity, empty bed residence time, liquid height/filler height ratio and restart ...

Color removal from aqueous solution by biogas residual slurry

Toxicological & Environmental Chemistry, 1993
The adsorption of Acid Brilliant Blue on biogas residual slurry has been investigated. The parameters studied include dye concentration, agitation time, adsorbent dosage and pH. The equilibrium data fit well with both the Langmuir and Freundlich models of adsorption isotherm. Maximum removal of 99% was observed at pH 2.56.

Biogas slurry treatment and biogas upgrading by microalgae-based systems under the induction of different phytohormones

Bioresource Technology
The low grade of biogas and the difficulty of treating biogas slurry are the two major bottlenecks limiting the sustainable development of the fermentation engineering. This study investigates the potential role of microalgae-microbial symbiosis and phytohormones in solving this challenge.
