ABSTRACT Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions have emerged as one of the most critical drivers of climate change; this is primarily due to high concentrations and long atmospheric life of carbon dioxide (CO2). For a significant amount of time, various biological processes such as microalgal cultivation, cyanobacterial systems, photosynthetic microorganisms ...

Digested slurry as a fertilizer for biogas ley [PDF]
Digested slurry injected produces in this case comparable yields with mineral fertiliser. Because the primary growth is the largest and of the best quality it should be used for feed as the first option.

Biogas-slurry derived mesoporous carbon for supercapacitor applications
Abstract This study reports on the transformation of biogas slurry into mesoporous carbon for supercapacitor electrodes. Pore structures have been modified by altering activation time, temperature and KOH/carbon mass ratio. The mesoporous carbons are successively developed as evidenced by type IV isotherms obtained in nitrogen sorption studies.

This study demonstrates a two‐stage catalytic bioreactor system that converts real food waste into high‐purity biohydrogen and biohythane. In Stage‐1, an enriched Clostridium thermocellum culture combined with Ni2+─Fe2+ bimetallic catalysis enhances hydrolysis efficiency and hydrogenase activity, resulting in a 77% increase in H2 yield and 75.8% purity

Assessment of Biofertilizer Quality and Health Implications of Anaerobic Digestion Effluent of Cow Dung and Chicken Droppings [PDF]
Anaerobic digestate have been identified as a rich source of essential plant nutrients. Nevertheless, its safety measured by the concentration of pathogen present is of great concern to end users. This research explored the efficiency of the mesophilic

Biogas slurry pricing method based on nutrient content
In order to promote biogas-slurry commercialization, A method was put forward to valuate biogas slurry based on its nutrient contents. Firstly, element contents of biogas slurry was measured; Secondly, each element was valuated based on its market price, and then traffic cost, using cost and market effect were taken into account, the pricing method of ...

ABSTRACT Sustainable livestock manure management sits at the nexus of climate, nutrient circularity and water quality. This review explores how artificial intelligence (AI) and digital platforms are used across four management stages, that is, treatment, storage, valorisation and distribution, and figures out where integration fails to deliver ...

Cow Urine for Enhancement of Biogas Production and Fertilizer Quality of Biogas Slurry
To explore the potency of cow urine on biogas production and fertilizer quality of the biogas slurries, six experimental trials, T0 (50% CD:50% Water) as control, T1 (10% CD:90% CU), T2 (20% CD:80% CU), T3 (30% CD:70% CU), T4 (40% CD:60% CU) and T5 (50% CD:50% CU) were constructed by mixing cow dung (CD) and cow urine (CU).
