Leveraging long‐term data to improve biodiversity monitoring with species distribution models
To our knowledge, this is the first empirical study to demonstrate the benefits of long‐term dynamic SDMs with spatially matched predictor variables. If predicting the future of biodiversity under land‐use and climate change is the goal, practitioners should consider additional investment in multi‐year biodiversity monitoring rather than single‐year ...

A large‐scale citizen science study involving thousands of cowslip (Primula veris) observations from all over Europe revealed an unexpected prevalence of S‐morphs over L‐morphs, which was influenced by climatic as well as land use factors. Furthermore, general morph ratios were often unbalanced with the strongest shifts occurring in smaller populations.

Growth–survival trade‐off in temperate trees is weak and restricted to late‐successional stages
Our findings highlight a role of disturbances in filtering life‐history strategies and their potential impact on forest dynamics and global carbon cycling, but also a need to better understand the mediating processes of tree demographic trade‐offs.

A first characterization of the leaflet endophytic prokaryotic community in Dioon cycads
This study presents the first characterization of leaflet endophytic prokaryotic communities in Mexican cycads of the genus Dioon. Using 16S rRNA metabarcoding, we describe the composition and diversity of foliar bacterial communities across species and biogeographic regions, highlighting patterns potentially shaped by environmental conditions.
